Balkan Green Ideas (BGI), an initiative of the Balkan Green Foundation, supports ambitious entrepreneurs across the Western Balkans in developing green business ideas that make use of local resources while revitalizing traditional production chains and community-based markets.
Between 2020 and 2022, Lens served as the Kosovo partner in this regional initiative, actively engaging young entrepreneurs and fostering innovation in sustainable business. Through this collaboration, two prizes were awarded to young entrepreneurs from Kosovo, highlighting the country’s contribution to advancing eco-friendly and community-driven solutions.
By stimulating green entrepreneurship, BGI has played a vital role in promoting environmental sustainability, competitiveness, and prosperity in the Western Balkans, while encouraging cooperation and innovation across borders.
