This four-year project (2020-2024), funded by the Swedish Development Agency (SIDA), focused on strengthening the protection and promotion of labour rights in Kosovo, with a particular emphasis on empowering young legal professionals.
As part of the project, Lens implemented an extensive and successful internship programme for law graduates, providing them with hands-on experience and opportunities to engage in the field of labour rights. In parallel, the project established a Young Lawyers Network, which significantly enhanced the capacities of emerging legal experts to address labour rights issues.
Over its duration, four summer camps under the Labour Rights Academy were organized, creating an interactive space for learning, networking, and advocacy. Additionally, the project promoted the innovative use of digital tools by encouraging citizens to report labour rights violations through web-based platforms, thereby increasing visibility, accountability, and enforcement in this critical area.
