LENS is continuing with the implementation of YOUSEE! project in its fourth year. It is a regional platform that promotes social innovation in employment policies. The aim is to help young people who are at risk of being excluded from the labor market.
In 2018, YOUSEE! will continue to trace the problems with access to education and employment of young people from rural areas. This research will analyze the needs of young people from rural areas, will engage in developing an appropriate intervention program, and it will be proposed to state institutions and other stakeholders.
This project, implemented by 6 countries of the Western Balkans and Turkey, aims to increase the cooperation of regional organizations in order to create a common agenda for a more sustainable socio-economic development.
Over the past three years LENS has monitored active labor market measures implemented by relevant institutions and has proposed innovative strategies based on the needs of young people and vulnerable groups.
Also, based on the component of social innovation, LENS will continue with the promotion and direct support of social entrepreneurship as a model of economic activity whose priority is community’s benefit.
